Save the Duck - Extreme respect
Kuntal Joisher, an Indian mountaineer, set out to achieve an extraordinary goal: becoming the first person to summit Mount Everest in a completely animal-free way. Save The Duck supported his mission by designing and producing a high-performance climbing suit capable of withstanding the extreme temperatures at 8,000 meters—without any animal sacrifice. Made with PLUMTECH®, an innovative animal-free material, the suit provides the same warmth as down while staying true to Kuntal’s ethical values. This docufilm captures a part of Kuntal’s intense training and his unique climbing philosophy, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Italian Dolomites. On May 23, 2019, Kuntal Joisher reached the summit of Mount Everest, turning his dream into reality.
